10cm, 1000 Arrow Target Face

A great target for every day training, or fun shoots!

Made of durable PVC, this little target is waterproof, and will take hundreds of arrows.

How to use the 1000 Arrow Target to train instinctive archery at unknown distances:

Achieving instinctive consistency and accuracy does not have to take years! Improve your archery in months or even weeks!

• • Put your 1000 Arrow Target at shoulder height.
  • Start at 2 meters from the target and shoot 1000 arrows into the red, 10cm circle.
  • Shoot in sets of 10 shots. (If you are concerned about robin hoods, shoot in 2 sets of 5)
  • Out of each set of 10 shots, you are allowed to miss ONE shot.*
  • If you miss more than one shot, start that set of 10 again.*

Example:

You are at 260 arrows, and about to start the next set of 10, to get to 270. You have 2 or more misses. Start the set of 10 again from 260. Stay at the 260 set of 10, until you get 9/10 or 10/10 hits*. Now you can start the next set of 10 at 270.

• • Continue this process until you have made 1000 hits in the 10cm circle, missing a maximum of 1 shot out of each 10.
  • Step back ONE METER, and repeat 1000 arrows!
  • This training can be done up to whatever distance you can manage - 1000 arrows per meter!

*If the arrow cuts the line of the red circle, the shot counts.

This exercise can take some time, but it is an excellent way to train instinctive accuracy at all distances.
