Add these stainless steel collars (also called nock collars) to either, or both ends of your carbon shaft before the assembly of point, nock or inserts.
To protect against heavy impacts, install on front of shaft, behind the insert, to protect against robin hoods, install at nock. Or both if you shoot heavy arrows.
