Thick leather military quiver with leather covered base and stitched edge line.
The shape of this Qing Dynasty Manchu quiver is inspired by a late 18th century antique attributed to the Qianlong Emperor, and a few other less decorated antiques from the period.
During this period of Qianlong Emperor's reign, quiver styles broke from the older, rectangular styles of previous emperors. Rounded corners, and flowing lines became the dominant style. Quivers also became shorter (shallower) as arrows dropped in length.
This entry level Qing Dynasty, Manchu style Quiver, is an un-decorated, yet authentic interpretation of a military quiver from the mid Qing Dynasty in terms of construction and practical features. It comes without back pockets as standard, but these can be added as an extra option for your whistle arrows and blunts.

- NOTE: This quiver is designed to be stuffed with dry pine needles as per historical examples. Pine needles are still the best, and most historically accurate stuffing for your quiver to keep your arrows separated, tight, dry and quiet.
